Stormrider: A Local War Story first draft finished!
I hope you are having an awesome day!
The first draft of Stormrider: A Local War Story is done. Eight months. Well worth it. But a first draft is only a raw, uncut rock pulled from the earth. Cutting, shaping, and polishing, otherwise known as editing, will hopefully turn it into a shining jewel. For those who may missed it, It’s the story of an exploited child. He’s not a prince in disguise or the subject of some prophesy. He’s just a kid, leading a very hard and sad life. Yet, through it all, he never loses faith that things could be better. Not just for him, but for everyone. Through grit and determination, and some dumb luck, he rises to became the hero a desperate world needs.
Editing normally takes me about 5-6 months. This time, however, I am seriously considering trying traditional publishing. Haven’t decided yet. If I follow that route, it may take longer to publication.
Once editing is done, I’ll begin writing Sundown Rhoades Daybreak: The Local War (Book 4). Already have lots of ideas and notes for the book, and the next trilogy that it begins.
